General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring deviation between target idle speed and actual engine speed during catalyst heating
  1. Checking leakage of air intake
  2. Checking operation of ETC
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed = 0
  • Coolant temperature > -10.5°C (13.1°F)
  • Intake air temperature > -10.5°C (13.1°F)
  • Accel. Pedal = 0%
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Desired engine speed - Atucal engine speed > 100rpm
Case 2
  • Desired engine speed - Atucal engine speed < -200rpm or max. Idle torque - Actual Idle torque < 100Nm
Case 3
  • Fuel cut-off ≥ 3 times
Diagnostic Time
  • 8sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
