Signal Circuit Inspection

Check short to ground in harness
1. IG "OFF" and disconnect ETC Motor & TPS connector and ECM connector.
2. Measure resistance between TPS2 signal terminal of ETC Motor & TPS harness connector and chassis ground. (Measurement "A")
3. Measure resistance between TPS2 signal and ground terminals of ETC Motor & TPS harness connector. (Measurement "B")
  Specification: Infinite

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?
  YES
  
  Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
  
  NO
  
  Repair Short to ground in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
