Power Circuit Inspection

Check Open or Short in power circuit
1. IG "OFF" and disconnect ETC Motor & TPS connector.
2. IG "ON".
3. Measure voltage between TPS1 power terminal of ETC Motor & TPS harness connector and chassis ground.
  Specification: Approx. 5V

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?
  YES
  
  Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
  
  NO
  
  Check for Open or Short to ground in Power circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
