Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "Inhibitor switch" parameter.
  4. Change a shift lever from P-range to D-range.

  5. Is the Inhibitor switch value changed in specification?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of PCM/TCM and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR  procedure.
