DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor Connection
  • Power supply to each module
  • Open or short in communication line of 4WD ECM
  • Open or short in communication line of VDC
  • Faulty 120Ω resistor (IPM)
  • Faulty 4WD ECM
  • Faulty VDC
Enable conditions
  • IG ON
Threshold value
  • No CAN message from VDC for more than 1 sec.
Check Lamp
  • Lamp ON
