Troubleshooting Procedures

First, select the applicable malfunction symptom from TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHARTS .

Determine the condition of all circuit functions.

1. Make the following preliminary inspections.
   1. Check that the installation of the actuator, accelerator cable are correct, and that the cables and links are securely connected.
   2. Check that the accelerator pedal moves smoothly.
   3. Adjust the cable so there is not excessive tension or excessive play on the accelerator cable.
   4. Check that the actuator, unit assembly, cruise main switch, control switch, cancel switch and the connector of each are connected securely.
2. Check sequence indicated in the "TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHARTS".
