Signal Circuit Inspection

Check for Open in signal circuit
1. IG KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnect HO2S (S1) connector and ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance Between signal terminal of HO2S harness connector and signal terminal of PCM harness connector
  Specification: below 1Ω

4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
  NO
  - Repair Open circuit, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
