DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short power/ground in signal circuit
  • S1
General Enable Conditions
  • Dew point end detected
  • Target lambda = 1
  • Battery voltage > 10.7V
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model) < 800°C
  • No upstream O2 sensor error or downstream O2 sensor ready
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • S2 sensor voltage > 0.5V
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage: 0.06 ~ 0.4V
Diagnostic Time
  • 25 sec
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • S2 sensor voltage < 0.1V
Threshold Value
  • S1 sensor voltage: 0.6 ~ 1.08V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec
Case 3 Enable Conditions
  • Time after dew point end detected > 10s
Threshold Value
  • Counter of l Δusvk > 2V during 0.04 sec after heater on→off l ≥ 5 times
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle

* Δusvk: Sum of the signal voltage change value (S1)

* S1: upstream oxygen sensor/S2: downstream oxygen sensor
