Repair procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crush pad. (Refer to CRASH PAD BD group.
  3. Remove the cowl cross bar assembly. (Refer to CRASH PAD BD group.
  4. Remove the heater and blower unit (A) from cowl cross bar assembly. (Refer to CRASH PAD BD group.
  5. Remove the blower unit (A) from the heater unit (B) after loosening a mounting bolt and 3 screws.

  6. Installation is the reverse order of removal.
