Repair Procedures: Installation

Install the backing plate (A).

Connect the parking brake wire (B) to the brake shoe (A).

Install the shoe hold down pin and spring (A) to hold the brake shoe (B).

Install the adjuster assembly (B) and the lower return spring (C).
Install the upper return spring (A) and strut (B).

Grease where is necessary.
Install the rear hubs.
Install the hub nut (A). After installation, lock the nut to the spindle as shown in the illustration.

Install the hub cap (A) and the disc (B).

Install the rear wheels and tires from the rear hubs.
Tighten the parking brake adjusting nut.
Install the parking brake wire and the pedal assembly.
