FR terminal Circuit Inspection

  1. With ignition OFF, disconnect alternator connector.
  2. IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
  3. Measure voltage between FR terminal of the alternator harness connector and chassis ground.

    4. Specification :  Approx. 9~11V

  4. Is voltage within the specification?

    YES 

    Go to "C terminal Circuit Inspection" procedure.

    NO 

    Repair as necessary and go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR
