TPS Circuit Inspection

Key "OFF".
Disconnect TPS connector.
Key "ON".
Measure the voltage between terminal 1, 2, 3 of TPS harness connector and chassis ground.
1. Specification :
  Terminal 1 : Approx. 5V
  
  Terminal 2 : Approx. 5V
  
  Terminal 3 : Approx. 0V

Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES
1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure
NO
1. Check for Open or Short in TPS circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
