Repair Procedures: Installation

Install the cruise control actuator unit & bracket assembly.

Connect the cruise control cable.
1. Set up the cruise cable T-end to cruise throttle lever.
2. Hold the cruise cable grommet to the accel wire bracket certainly.
3. Hold the clip to the cruise control cable.
Adjust the cruise control cable.
Cable should have approximately 1mm (0.039in.) slack off with actuator against stop.

CAUTION: Take special precaution to prevent severe bending.
Connect the actuator connector and battery negative cable.
