DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Detects a continuous short to low or open in either the signal circuit or the fuel level sender
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground in signal Circuit
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sensor
  • Faulty PCM

  • Engine Running
  
Threshold value
  • Raw fuel level sender output < 0.2V
