Crash Pad Replacement

NOTE:

When prying with a flat-up screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Remove the following items:
1. Front seat
2. Cluster fascia panel, cluster
3. Audio assembly
4. Glove box
5. Crash pad side cover
6. Front pillar trim
Insert the air vent remover (09840-1M100) into the air vent hole.

Air vent remover (09840-1M100 (A)) should be aligned and hung at the end of the air vent.

CAUTION:
- To prevent the damage of air vent, air vent remover should be aligned and hung at the end of the air vent.
Remove the side air vent (B) by pulling the air vent remover (A).

Disconnect the passenger's air bag connector (A). Loosen the bolts (B).

Remove the air bag module cover (A).

Disconnect the connector (A).

Remove the photo sensor (A).

After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, remove the crash pad (A).

Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:
- Make sure the crash pad fits onto the guide pins correctly.
- Before tightening the bolts, make sure the crash pad wire harnesses are not pinched.
- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly, and the antenna lead is connected properly.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.
