Repair Procedures: Removal

To remove windshield glass, first remove the following parts.
1. Remove front pillar trim.
  1. Remove body side weatherstrip.

  2. Remove pillar blanking cover and bolt.

  3. Remove trim from front pillar.

2. Remove inside rearview mirror.
  1. Remove inside rearview mirror base cover.
  2. Disconnect inside rearview mirror connector.
  3. Remove inside rearview mirror from inside rearview mirror base.
3. Remove wiper arm (RH).
  1. Remove wiper arm cap.
  2. Remove wiper arm nut.
    Tightening torque:
    
    28-33 kg.m (2.8-3.3 kg.m, 20-24 lb.ft)
4. Remove windshield wiper arm (RH).
5. Remove cowl top cover.
  1. Remove cowl top cover fasteners (5).
  2. Remove cowl top cover.
Remove windshield glass side molding.
Pierce the sealant with a knife.

Remove windshield glass using glass holder.
