Wheel RUNOUT

  1. Jack up the vehicle and support it with jack stands.
  2. Measure wheel runout with a dial indicator.
  3. Replace the wheel if wheel runout exceeds the limit.

    Direction Aluminum wheel Steel wheel
    Radial 0.25 mm (0.0098 in.) 1.0 mm (0.039 in.)
    Axial 0.25 mm (0.0098 in.) 1.2 mm (0.222 in.)
