Repair Procedures: Removal

Loosen battery cable and mounting bolt and then remove battery.

Remove three shock absorber mounting block nuts from the mounting block.

Raise the front of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
Remove the front wheels.
Remove the bolt on the steering knuckle side that secures the upper arm ball joint.

Remove the brake hose bracket and then the remove the upper arm bolts and nuts.

Remove the shock absorber lower nut.

Remove the spring and shock absorber assembly from the vehicle as an assembly.
