Cooling System: Installation: Thermostat

Place the thermostat in thermostat housing.
1. Install the thermostat (B) with the jiggle valve upward.
2. Install a new gasket (A) to the thermostat (B).

Install the water inlet fitting (A).
Tightening torque: 14.7-19.6 N.m (1.5-2.0 kg-m, 10.8-14.5 lb-ft)

Fill with engine coolant.
Start engine and check for leaks.
