Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Start engine and connect the scan tool to data link connector.
Inspect TPS signal output with the scan tool on condition as shown below.
Specification:

[TPS #1]

Idle: 0.25-0.9V

Wide open throttle: Min. 4.0V

[TPS #2]

Idle: Min. 4.0V

Wide open throttle: 0.25-0.9V

Stop engine and disconnect throttle body assembly connector.
Measure resistance as shown below.
Specification: Between pin 1 and 2: 0.88-1.63 kΩ
