Power Steering Hoses: Replacement
- Drain the power steering fluid.
- Disconnect the pressure tube (A) and suction tube (B) from the power steering oil pump.
Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m, lb.ft):
55-65 (4.5-5.5, 40-47)
- Disconnect the pressure tube (A) and return tube (B) from the valve body housing.
Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m, lb-ft):
12-18 (1.2-1.8, 9-13)
- Remove the brackets of the pressure tube and hose from the sub-frame.
- Remove the bracket of the return tube and hose.
- Remove the under cover and then loosen the oil cooler tube bracket bolts.NOTE: Be sure to connect between a tube and a hose as shown in the illustration.
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
- After installation, bleed the power steering system. (See AIR BLEEDING )
