Trailing Arm: Installation

  1. Install the rear trailing arm (A) to the body by tightening the mounting bolts (B).

    Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m. lb-ft): 

    140-160, (14.0-16.0, 101-116)

  2. Connect the trailing arm (B) with the carrier assembly by tightening the mounting bolts (A).

    Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m. lb-ft): 

    45-55, (4.5-5.5, 33-40)

  3. Connect the rear stabilizer link (B) with the trailing arm and tighten the nut (A).

    Tightening torque N.m (kgf.m. lb-ft): 

    45-55 (4.5-5.5, 33-40)

  4. Connect the parking brake cable (A) with the rear brake assembly.

  5. Install the wheel speed sensor and parking brake cable bracket by tightening the mounting bolts (A, B).

  6. Install the rear wheel and tire.

    Tightening toque N.m (kgf.m, lb-ft): 

    90-110 (9.0-11.0, 65-80)

    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when installing the wheel and tire.
