Front Stabilizer Bar: Removal
- Remove the front wheel and tire.CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the hub bolts when removing the wheel and tire.
- Loosen the bolt (A) and then disconnect the universal joint assembly (B) from the pinion of the steering gear box.
- Disconnect the pressure tube (A) from the power steering pump by loosening the eye bolt.
- Drain the power steering fluid by disconnecting the return hose (A).
- Disconnect the stabilizer link (A) from the front strut assembly by loosening the nut.
- Remove the split pin and castle nut and then disconnect the tie-rod end (A) from the front knuckle by using SST (09568-34000).
- Disconnect the front lower arm with the knuckle by loosening the mounting bolts (A).
- Remove the muffler rubber hanger (A).
- Remove the front and rear roll stopper bolts and nuts (A, B).
- Remove the sub-frame (A) and sub-frame stay by loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.
- Remove the stabilizer bar from the sub-frame by loosening the mounting bolts (A).
- Disconnect the stabilizer link (A) with the stabilizer bar by loosening the nut.
- Remove the bushing (A) and the bracket (B) from the stabilizer bar.
