DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Enable Conditions Case 1
  • Battery voltage > 6V
  • No relevant failure
  • Coolant temp, at engine start < 40°C (104°F)
  • Modeled oil Temp. > 70°C (158°F)
Case 2
  • 6V < Battery voltage
  • No relevant failure
  • Coolant Temp. < 70°C (158°F)
Case 3
  • 6V < Battery voltage
  • No relevant failure
  • Coolant Temp, at engine start <40°C (104°F)
  • Minimum Oil Temperature model increase > 30~100t; (86~212°F) depending on ECT at engine start
  • Modeled coolant temp, or measured coolant temp. > 85°C (185°F)
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Measured oil temp. < +35°C (95°F)
Case 2
  • Measured oil temp. > 100°C (212°F)
Case 3
  • Modeled oil temp, increase < 10°C~35°C (depending on coolant temp.)
Diagnostic Time Case 1
  • 15sec.
Case 2 & 3
  • Up to 13 min. depending on start temp.
