Signal Circuit Inspection

Check for short to ground in signal circuit
1. Measure resistance between terminals 1 of the FLS harness connector and chassis ground
  Specification : Infinite
2. Is resistance within the specification?
  YES
  - Go to next step.
  NO
  - Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
Check for open in signal circuit
1. Disconnect ECM connector
2. Measure resistance between terminals 1 of the FLS harness connector and 36 of the ECM harness connector.
  Specification : Approx. 0Ω
3. Is resistance within the specification?
  YES
  - Go to TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION .
  NO
  - Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
