Cooling System: Installation: Thermostat: Notes

Place thermostat in thermostat housing.
1. Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve upward.
2. Install a new thermostat (B).

Install water inlet (A).
Tightening torque

16.66-19.60 N.m (1.7-2.0 kgf.m, 12.30-14.47 lb-ft)
Fill with engine coolant.
Start engine and check for leaks.
