Back Door Courtesy Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH 
    1. Measure the resistance of the switch.

    Standard resistance 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION AND TESTER CONNECTION

    Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
    Q23-1 - Q23-2 Door LOCK position 10 k ohms or higher
    Q23-1 - Q23-2 Door UNLOCK position Below 1 ohms

    If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
