DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND PROBABLE CAUSE

Input/Turbine speed sensor |
| Description |
The turbine revolution sensor detects input shaft rpm(revolutions per minute). It is located on the input side of the automatic transmission. Monitors revolution of sensor 1 and sensor 2 for non-standard conditions. |
| DTC detecting condition |
Check the corresponding terminals under the following conditions when driving.
- No 36 terminal of turbine sensor 1
- When driving in 1st gear at 12.4mph(20km/h) with Idle SW OFF, use pulse frequency measurement function of scan tool: Approx. 1.1K(Hz)
CAUTION:
Make sure to connect the normal diagnosis data link cable to the vehicle shaft diagnosis connector.
- No 45 terminal of turbine sensor 2
- Make Driving in 4th gear at 31.1mph(50km/h) with idle SW OFF, use pulse frequency measurement function of scan tool: Approx. 1.1K(Hz)
CAUTION:
Make sure to connect the normal diagnosis data link cable to the vehicle side diagnosis connector.
