General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause

  • Rationality check
  • Poor connection
  • Faulty Fuel temperature sensor
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Water temp. at start - Intake air temp. at start < 5°C (9°F)
  • Coolant at start: -10°C (14°F) ~ 60°C (140°F)
Threshold value
  • Fuel tank temp. at start - water temp. at start > 15°C (27°F)
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
