DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit open
  • Short to ground in FTPS harness
  • Open in FTPS harness
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty FTPS
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 11V
  
Threshold Value
  • Signal voltage < 0.063V
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec. continuous
