Signal Circuit Inspection

Ignition "ON"
Measure voltage between terminal 3 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
1. Specification: Approx. 5V

Is voltage within the specification?
YES
1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
1. Check the short to ground in signal circuit.
2. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
