DTC P0125: Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition & Limp Home Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Time (Tfbi) from engine starting to the reaching engine coolant temp. of F/B on
  • Poor connection.
  • Improper coolant level
  • Resistance of wire in ECT sensor circuit
  • Defective thermostat
  • Defective ECT sensor
Case 1 Enable Condition
  • AFS voltage > 1.7V
  • coolant at start is greater than or equal to -10°C
  • Air temp. at start is greater than or equal to -10°C
Threshold value Tfbi
  • > 300 sec @ -8°C
  • > 110 sec @ 20°C
  • > 60 sec @ 82°C
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • AFS voltage is less than or equal to 1.7V
  • coolant at start is greater than or equal to -10°C
  • Air temp. at start is greater than or equal to -10°C
Threshold value Tfbi
  • > 300 sec @ -8°C
  • > 110 sec @ 20°C
  • > 60 sec @ 82°C
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
