Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. With connector still disconnected, measure voltage between terminal 3 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
    1. Specification: Approx. 5V

  2. Is voltage within the specification?

    YES

    1. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure

    NO

    1. Possibility of open or short to power in signal circuit. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure
