Engine Coolant Pump: Installation
- Clean the gasket surfaces of the engine coolant pump body and the cylinder block.
- Install the new engine coolant pump gasket and pump assembly. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

8x28mm bolt : 14.7-21.6 N.m (1.5-2.2 kg.m, 10.8-15.9 lb.ft)
8x14mm bolt : 19.6-26.5 N.m (2.0-2.7 kg.m, 14.5-19.5 lb.ft)
10x40mm bolt : 32.4-49.0 N.m (3.3-5.0 kg.m, 23.9-36.2 lb.ft)
- Install the auto tensioner and timing belt. Adjust the timing belt tension, then install the timing belt cover. See TIMING SYSTEM .
- Install the drive belt, coolant pump pulley and then adjust the auto tensioner.
- Refill the coolant.
- Run the engine and check for leaks.
