Outside Mirrors: Disassembly

  1. Remove mirror.
    CAUTION: Wear gloves to remove and install the mirror holder.
    1. Insert flat bladed screwdriver between the outside rearview mirror holder and the mirror assembly.

  2. Remove outside rearview mirror actuator.
    CAUTION: When prying with a flat bladed screwdriver, wrap it with a shop towel to prevent damage.
    1. Remove the outside rearview mirror actuator from the outside rearview mirror housing.

    2. When remove the outside rearview mirror actuator, take care of damage of electric wires.
