Coolant Temperature Sensor: Installation

  1. Apply sealant to the sensor's threads. Tighten it to the specified torque.

    Recommended sealant: 

    Three bond NO. 2310 or LOCTITE 962T.

    Tightening torque 

    The coolant sensor:

    20-40N.m (200-400 kg.cm, 14-29 lb.ft).

  2. Connect the coolant sensor to the harness.
  3. Connect the ground cable of battery.
  4. Refill the coolant.
