ATF Temperature Sensor

Resistance inspection

1. Remove air cleaner and fresh air duct.
2. Connect ohmmeter between terminals 5 and 8.

3. Measure resistance while warming up ATF (driving vehicle).
4. Verify that the resistance drops as shown in following figures.

5. If not as specified, replace transaxle fluid temperature sensor and connector wiring as an assembly.
6. Install air cleaner and fresh air duct.
