Control Valve Body: Removal
NOTE:
Clean transaxle exterior thoroughly with a steam cleaner or cleaning solvents before removal.
- Support the engine with appropriate engine support. See Fig 1 . Raise and support vehicle.
- Drain transaxle fluid into proper container. Remove both gravel shields from under the vehicle.
- Remove 2 nuts from engine mount-to-mounting member.
- Remove engine mounting member-to-chassis bolts and nuts, then remove engine mounting member.
- Remove oil pan and gasket. Disconnect all electrical connectors, remove 8 bolts and remove control valve body. See Fig 2 .
