Selector Lever: Installation

  1. Install set plate then tighten set plate nuts to specification. See Figure . See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install console bracket. See Figure .
  3. Connect the O/D OFF connector. See Figure . Shift selector lever into "P" range.
  4. Tighten selector lever base plate nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Tighten selector cable mounting bolt and nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  6. Tighten the shift lock cable nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  7. Install front and rear consoles. See Figure .
  8. Install cover panel then connect cigar lighter connector. See Figure .
  9. Install ash tray. See Figure . Connect negative battery cable.
  10. Verify operation of selector lever.
