Cranks Slowly

  1. Check if engine cranks normally when fully charged. If engine cranks normally when fully charged, then check charging system. If engine does not crank when battery is fully charged, then go to next step.
  2. Check starter cable connection for looseness and corrosion. If starter cable connection are loose and have corrosion, then repair or replace connection. If starter cable connection are NOT loose and no corrosion, then check for seized motor armature. Repair or replace as necessary.
