Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION Solenoid

Disconnect EGR solenoid electrical connector. Check resistance between EGR solenoid terminals. If resistance is not as specified, replace EGR solenoid. If resistance is as specified, go to next step. Using a fused jumper wire, connect battery voltage to terminal No.1, energize EGR solenoid by grounding terminal No. 2. Listen for operational sound (click).
