Vehicle Speed Sensor

Raise and support front of vehicle. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DVOM, backprobe between ground and VSS connector terminal No. 1 (Green/Orange wire). See Figure. Rotate front wheels. If voltage pulses between one and 10 volts, inspect circuits between ground and TCM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair as needed. If circuits are okay, replace VSS.
