Disabling & Activating Air Bag System: Activating

After servicing SRS air bag components, connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch on, while viewing air bag indicator light. If light illuminates for 4-8 seconds and goes out, system is operating as designed. If light remains illuminated or flashes, a system fault is present.
