Entering Self-Diagnostics

  1. To enter self-diagnostics, connect Kia Data Pro Scan Tool or equivalent to OBD II Data Link Connector (DLC). See Fig 1 .
  2. Start engine and retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IDENTIFICATION  .
