Code Retrieval

Locate Data Link Connector (DLC) on rear of firewall. Using a jumper wire, jump ABS output terminal to DLC ground terminal. See Figure . Turn ignition on and after 3 seconds remove jumper wire. Observ e ABS warning light and count number of diagnostic codes stored. See COUNTING CODES. Repeat as necessary to view all stored codes. Once all codes have been recorded, see ABS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHART  . Cross reference ABS trouble code to appropriate test to diagnose circuit affected.
