Test P: DTC 1-3-1-3: Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Check that ABS pump motor is not operating. If ABS pump motor is operating, replace pump motor relay. If ABS pump motor is not operating, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect pump motor relay 9-pin connector. Check resistance from terminal No. 4 (Yellow/Blue wire) to chassis ground. If resistance is greater than 10 megohms, go to next step. If reading is not as specified, check Yellow/Blue wire for short to ground. Repair as necessary.
  3. Reconnect all connectors. Erase diagnostic trouble codes. See ERASING CODES under RETRIEVING CODES  . If diagnostic trouble code 1-3-1-3 is still present, replace ABS control unit and repeat TEST P. If trouble code is intermittent, see TROUBLE SHOOTING  .
