Preliminary Check

  1. Check for blown PWIND fuse (30-amp) located in passenger compartment fuse box. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, locate and repair short to ground in power window circuit. Replace fuse. Retest system.
  2. Turn ignition on. Verify battery voltage (12 volts minimum) to fuse. If battery voltage is present, proceed with CIRCUIT TESTING. If battery voltage is not present, check battery condition and power feed to fuse box. Repair as necessary. Retest system.
