On-Vehicle Testing Precautions

DO NOT reverse battery cable connections.
DO NOT ground terminal "L" while the engine is running.
DO NOT apply battery voltage to terminal "L".
DO NOT start engine with "LS" connector disconnected.
DO NOT use high voltage type testers.
DO NOT ground terminal "B".
Battery voltage is applied to terminal "B" at all times.

NOTE: Ensure battery is fully charged and load tested before testing. Verify drive belt tension is correct, electrical wiring and connectors are in good condition and battery terminals are clean and tight. Wait at least 30 seconds after starting engine before taking readings.
