Transmission Mount: Notes

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the air intake tube. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the clean air hose. Refer to HOSE, CLEAN AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the battery and battery tray. Refer to TRAY, BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Disengage the pressurized coolant bottle retaining tabs and position the bottle aside.

    3 - Lower Coolant Hose
  6. Support the powertrain with a suitable jack.

    1 - Transmission Isolator to Transmission Adaptor Bolts
    2 - Transmission Isolator to Frame Bolts
    3 - Transmission Adaptor To Transmission Bolts
  7. Remove the transmission mount to transmission bracket bolts.
  8. Remove the transmission mount to frame bolts and remove transmission mount from the vehicle.
  9. Remove the left engine mount from the vehicle.
  10. If required, remove the four bolts and the transmission adaptor.

INSTALLATION 

During installation, torque the fasteners to the specifications in the torque table(s) below.

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
