Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. With the scan tool, read DTV DTCs and record on the repair order.
   NOTE:

   If the vehicle has been in the hot sunlight or extreme temperatures, move the vehicle indoors and open the doors to allow the inside temperature to stabilize. 

2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Start the engine and allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature.
4. With the scan tool, read DTV DTCs.

   Did the DTC return?

   Yes 

   • Replace the Digital TV (DTV) Module.
   • Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to: BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

   No 

   • Test Complete.
